| １月１４日 お正月のお飾りを焼いてもらいに多摩川べりの｢どんど焼き」に出かけた。とても寒い朝だった。でもいつもボクをかわいがってくれる狛江稲門会のおじちゃんたちに会えてうれしかったよ。頭をいっぱい撫でてもらった。帰り道、土手を歩いていたら久しぶりに電車を見ることができたよ。 |

| 14th Jun. We went to the"Dondo-yaki" at the riverside and had New Year's decorations burnt. It was a freezing morning, but I was happy to see there a few uncles of the Komae Tomon-kai. They are always so nice to me. They patted me on the head many times. On the way back, when I was walking along the river bank with Dad and Mum, I saw a train after such a long time. |

| さあ、どんど焼に車でお出かけだ。 毎年３０分歩いて行ってたんだけどもう僕は無理になってしまった。 Now we are ready to go for the"Dondo-yaki" by car. Until last year we had walked and had arrived there in half an hour, but this year I couldn't. |
